Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective August 29, 2026 · Washington My Health My Data Act notice

Consumer health data we collect

Depending on what you enter and the settings you choose, we may collect or derive nutrition and wellness information that could identify or reasonably be linked to you:

  • Foods, meals, exercise activities, duration or distance, entry times, and estimated calories.
  • A daily calorie reference you choose to set and summaries derived from your logs.
  • Body-avatar preferences and any wellness-related text you voluntarily submit.

We do not collect precise location, diagnoses, prescriptions, medical records, biometric identifiers, genetic data, or data from health devices unless you voluntarily include such information in free-form text. Please do not enter sensitive medical information.

Sources and purposes

We receive data directly from you through typed or spoken entries and settings. We derive calorie estimates and summaries from those entries. We collect it to display and save your journal, estimate food and exercise calories, show trends and summaries, provide requested reminders, secure and troubleshoot the service, and respond to your requests.

How and with whom we share it

We disclose consumer health data only to processors necessary to provide the service:

  • Supabase stores account settings, food and exercise logs, and derived estimates.
  • OpenAI processes submitted food or exercise text when needed to return an estimate.
  • Vercel hosts the application and transmits application requests.

We may also disclose data when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law. We currently have no affiliates with access to consumer health data.

We do not sell consumer health data.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data; access that data and a list of third parties or affiliates that received it; withdraw consent; and request deletion. You may delete individual logs in the app.

For a complete request, email admin@seemybelly.com with “Consumer Health Data Request” in the subject. We will authenticate your request using information associated with your account and will not require you to create a new account. An authorized agent may act for you where permitted by law.

Appeals

If we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing admin@seemybelly.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject and explaining your concern. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and provide information about contacting the Washington Attorney General if the appeal is denied.

Policy changes

Before collecting additional categories of consumer health data or using collected data for a materially different purpose, we will update this policy and obtain any affirmative consent required by law.
